TomM1 Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 I have not yet found the correct steps to save a gradient. It seems the tiny square gradient swatches only correctly indicate the saved gradients when the gradient tool is NOT selected. I think the process should be, select gradient tool. Set colors. Save gradient. On a new document or layer you should be able to choose the gradient tool then choose the saved gradient. Is this possible in AP? The gradient editor and saving process in Photoshop is much more simple. toltec Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Select the Gradient palette in the Swatches panel (Studio) or create a new one using the burger menu. Apply your gradient to an object, or select an object with a gradient applied. Right click on the object and choose Add to Swatches > From Fill Note. Make sure none of the gradient handles are selected, or Add to swatches adds the selected handle colour, not the whole gradient ! and there it is. Or create a custom palette. For a better display, use the burger menu to set the Appearance to Large icons and List You can also use the burger menu to Export (save) the palette to file, which will prevent you losing them if you need to reload Affinity. firstdefence 1 Quote Windows PCs.
