Need help with making minimalist art

Hi! I am very new to affinity photo and I’m looking for some help. I just got a new iPad that solely using for my modeling portfolio, but I’ve wanted to get back into designing pieces. I’ve used Photoshop before and loved it, but it’s not available on the iPad. Some of the controls are similar, but I’m still having a lot of trouble. I’ve tried to look at tutorials, but have no idea which would help the most. The picture below is what I’m trying to accomplish. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start?

Welcome to the forums. 

You have 2 choices:

• Use the Paint brush tool and draw
• Use the Pen Tool, make sure you tap on "Use fill", and create basic closed shapes, and fill them with the colour of your choice.
