Shortcut for selecting Paint Brush

Hi All,

  Is there a shortcut for selecting paint brush. I see that we have one shortcut which is also same paint mixer brush. 

So when I press B , sometimes it is going to paint brush and sometimes it is going to Paint Mixer brush.

I want to create custom shortcut only for Paint Brush

Hi Krishna,

If you open the keyboard shortcuts section within Affinity Photos Preferences you can remove the other brush tools from using the letter B. Set the top option to Photo and the bottom one to Tools and then scroll down the list until you come across the ones that use B, then just click the X. If you don't want to keep using B, click the field and then press the letter or combination you would like to use.

Customizing keyboard shortcuts

Please note that there is no way to configure the shortcuts so that repeatedly pressing the same key keeps the same tool selected. If a tool belongs to a toolbar group, multiple presses of the shortcut will cycle among the tools in the group; if the tool does not belong to a toolbar group, every alternate press of the shortcut will jump to the previously selected tool.

I was able to edit and have only B set to paint brush

Is there a way to stop this cycle where in which if I press same shortcut to turns on and off the shortcut

 

Eg:- Pressing Multiple times B turns on and off the brush. I wish to have such that press B always go to paint brush.

No, there is not. This has been requested in the feedback & suggestions forum but to date it has not been added.
