Divide Image into Layers

Hi,

I'm at a loss.  I can't figure out how to create this image into layers.  The end result, I want to be able to put images behind the first wall of the cardboard box...so it looks full of product.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @QFS :)

There’s no need to divide anything. You can simply crop off the bottom of the product image and carefully align it with the top front edge of the box.

Alternatively, using the Selection Brush Tool, just copy the front of the box (as shown below) onto a new layer.

Place your image below this layer and adjust as necessary.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
