I have followed a good beginners  (basic) tutorial for changing the colour of a red rose . But so disappointed by the end result . Finding that a lot of refinement was required to be satisfactory. I had to paint colour and blur the edges of the rose to remove red edging ?

But hey it’s on the iPad Pro and not a desktop , there again there may be an option to improve in the settings ,  help . Advise please , If you can . . .

Hi Dodgeruk :)

Could you possibly provide us with the .afphoto file, so that we can see your workflow here?
What selection tools/recolouring process are you following please?

Hi Dan C , if only I had received this earlier , I have uninstalled and reinstalled. But I can tell you which tutorial I followed.

” Change the Color of Anything “ 3.06 mins to do .

Affinity Photo iPad Tutorial.

by “Affinity Revolution “ YouTube.

I did go into the paint section after and painted the edge left side of my try out . Then just stopped, guessing as their tutorial looked fine . Then saved out for future reference . Then I followed an Affinity tutorial of masking a simple photo of a lady . Tried 3 times and then uninstalled. Since reinstalling, I found I have lost the ones in the program . I believe the one I posted was saved in tiff .

Oh I had used the Apple Pencil , if that helps at all . .

I guess I will have to down load the free brush’s again to . . .

Of course , should there be a need , I’ll try the tutorial again later should it be necessary . . .The Photo I uploaded is the result of the tutorial . .

Thank you in advance . .
