Ki Moto
My current work flow consists of using a MacBook Pro with a external HD that has my LR 6 catalogue on it. I want to utilize my iPad and Affinity Photo. What I can’t figure out is how to manage my photos using both softwares while keeping all my photos in one place. I do not mind moving my photos back and forth but I do not want to use apple photos.
Staff Dan C Posted June 10, 2018 Staff Share Posted June 10, 2018 Hi Ki Moto, Welcome to the forums One way you could achieve this is by using Lightroom Mobile on your iPad. You can find the file in Lightroom, then use “Open In” and send it to Affinity Photo. Here you can do your edits etc and once you have finished editing the image in Affinity Photo, you can use Export > Share to save a copy back to Lightroom. However this will be a new separate image in LR, which you won't be able to undo the adjustments made in Affinity. More functionality may be added to Affinity in the future to allow direct write-back to existing files. Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
