Hi everybody!, nice to meet you all!

I am new (damn new) user of Affinity, I just bought it yesterday to start learning and finally replace PS in my Workflow, after read a lot about how strong software it is.

I am stucked in the final part of my editing workflow, facing the following problem:

1. Import RAW Files to LR > OK

2. After editing, Open RAW file in Affinity from LR generating a PSD file > OK

3. After editing, Save and Close PSD file in Affinity and checked it is saved in the right way and can be seen in LR > OK

4. Here comes the problem, when what to do a second editing of the saved PSD (for example, I forgot to resize the image) I can open it, edit it OK, but when saved and close Affinity and go back to LR... another new PSD files was generated... I mean it is not overwriting the existing one (as happened when using PS)... anyone can please help me to solve this?

By the way I am using LR 5.7.1 (with its embedded Camera RAW 8.7.1) and Affinity Photo 1.6.7 (I guess last version).

Just one final question, I read briefly that also RAW can be edited in Affinity tool (similar as Camera RAW), is anyone using an entire workflow using only Affinity Photo?, can you share the experience?

Thanks a lot in advance for your time and help!!!

Hi Mikelattanzi,

Welcome to the forums :)

Under the general tab in preferences in Affinity you should find a tickbox that says Enable save over imported PSD files. This should do what you are looking for :)

Hopefully another user will comment regarding your second question!
