how can I save custom courses with the gradient tool?

Recommended Posts

I want to save my custom "courses" (I don't know if this is the correct word in English) because it's takes so long to make every time a new one. is there a way to save them in the iPad or windows version?

For a Windows PC, don't know about ipad.

Select the Gradient swatch in the Swatches panel (Studio)

Apply your gradient

to an object

Right click on the object and choose Add to Swatches > From Fill

Note. Make sure none of the gradient handles are selected, or Add to swatches adds the selected handle colour, not the whole gradient !

and there it is

Create as many as you want.

Remember, you can use the burger menu in Swatches to Export them (Export Palette) so you can move them to other instances of Photo or just to save them for safety.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

On iPad, make sure the layer is selected and tap on ‘Styles’ at the bottom of the Layer FX Studio. Tap on the menu icon, choose ‘Add Category’ if desired, and then choose ‘Add Style from Selection’.
