I am just beginner and I never used affinity software before, and I don't have pc or mac currently, and really i am confused about where should I start or what should I do!!!!!! buy ipad pro or build pc!!!!!! is there big different between ipad version and desktop version? is it good to start learning with ipad version? is the ipad version limited? thank you so much Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The professionals tend to use the Mac or pc version mostly but as a hobbyist I tend to use my iPad because I always have access to it, even when I’m watching the football match on the sofa. Thank you so for your reply, i will wait for affinity designer version on ipad to buy ipad pro, i think it will come this summer, but if not, i will buy a laptop, but i think startring with ipad version is better value!!! Compared to the alternative, all versions are an absolute bargain! I actually bought my second hand Mac just to try Affinity Photo and Designer after I had used iPad version! My home PC is ancient but still runs AP well but hardly use it now since iPad came out. Still use PC at work unfortunately.
