AnanthVanDerLekh
I'm loving Affinity Photo as my Photoshop replacement. I am gradually learning the tools and functions. But currently I have 2 questions. Is there a way to adjust a single layer without affecting anything else? For example, adjust the hue or brightness. I have discovered the adjustment layers, but they affect every layer below them. Also is there anything similar to Photoshop's liquefy function where you can pull parts of the image around? Thanks. As you have discovered, if the layer is on top, it affects all the layers below. You need to "nest" it in the layer you want to adjust. You do that by dragging the adjustment layer below the layer you want it to affect See the horizontal line that appears before you drop it. In Photo, there is a whole Liquify Persona. Select a layer and click on that and you can "liquify" your image, like Photoshop. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
