Staff Callum Posted June 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted June 4, 2018 Hi Rebel Designer, Welcome to the forums You will need to purchase a separate licence for each operating system I'm afraid. Staff MEB Posted June 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted June 4, 2018 Hi RebelDesigner, Welcome to Affinity Forums Each platform requires its own license, so you will have to buy a license for each OS. You can run it on more than one computer as long as you own/control them all and are the only one using the software for commercial purposes. Well, there’s no “got to” about it, since you could opt to buy a copy of Windows and install it via Boot Camp, but that probably only makes sense if you have other software which can only run on Windows. Since it costs Serif substantially more to develop & support versions of the Affinity apps for both Windows & Macs than for either OS alone, if the license covered both versions, they would have to charge everyone substantially more for the app licenses. That would sort of stink for everyone that only needed apps that ran on one or the other OS.
