mattgolfs
Is there a way to change the Workspace color profile to something other than the offensive dark grey it defaults too? I looked through all the menu options and didn't see anything. I'm hoping I missed it.
Staff MEB Posted June 2, 2018 Staff Share Posted June 2, 2018 Hi mattgolfs, Welcome to Affinity Forums Go to the Affinity Preferences (menu Affinity Photo ▸ Preferences if you are using a Mac / menu Edit ▸ Preferences... if you are using Windows), User Interface section and adjust the sliders Background Grey Level for non-artboard based documents and Artboard Background Grey Level for artboard based documents. You can also adjust the UI Gamma there or switch to the Light interface (UI Style). The light & dark UI's each maintain their own background grey level (& UI Gamma) settings independently of each other, so just switching from one to the other UI will not by itself change the background grey level. They still have to be set with the sliders to the desired levels. R C-R
Just now, Pšenda said: I have not changed them, so "differently" are by default. What I mean is if @mattgolfs adjusts the Dark UI grey levels to a preferred non-default setting, that will have no effect on the default Light UI levels if he switches to that.
