Kawaiikitten
Although not drastically altered I use Affinity Photo for processing the raw images and then a little bit of tweaking. These two images were for a local model for her portfolio. I recently bought the workbook and am going to start going through it to improve my skills. Thank you Serif for an amazing editor and also for saving me a fortune ( Adobe's loss) Catherine VectorWhiz, SrPx and RemN
Kawaiikitten
It seems my web browser is altering the colours and brightness....the learning quest goes on.
SrPx
if you are saving the images directly in JPG with a Adobe RGB embedded profile, or similar, that could be the cause. For the web, whether save as sRGB (which ensures fine looking in every device out there) or if you are sure people to see the photos are of geeky nature, and you expect them to have their browsers with the right setting to be able to load color managed photos, then you could save them as they come from your photo editor or camera (or almost). Probably you don't have your own browser calibrated and maybe you see like more dull images ? The Adobe RGB profile or other similar ones provide a ranger color range than what many standard browser configs allow to display (ie, certain saturated greens, blues, etc) Quote AD, AP and APub. SrPx
Hmmm....no, wait. You are exporting the images without an embedded profile, I think. That's the issue. The browser is not going to apply an Adobe RGB profile by itself.... Anyway, expecting the browsers to be supporting icc colors is a bit of a gamble (I think firefox is best for that, but a lot of ppl use chrome and others). Maybe just convert to sRGB (with care of not messing with the final full color range file, which should be in the wider profile) in a way you can control in A. Photo, then export for the web. I see it like a safer bet... Quote AD, AP and APub. V1.10.6 (not using v1.x anymore) and V2.4.x. Windows 10 and Windows 11.
