Update to affinity

Recommended Posts

Hi Serif. I have supported your software for at least a decade and was about to update to affinity photos.

I then decided to also update my video editing software to affinity....... to my dismay you have dropped all updates

to this side of photographic art form.......... I now can't update to any affinity software as I no longer trust you as a software

developer as you have dropped you video support and who is to say you will not do the same with your photo support

as soon as I give you my hard earned money? You have probably heard all this before  but you have now lost a loyal customer.

Affinity has never had a Video editing program! Where did you get this idea from?

Please change your name to something other than your email address to avoid it being harvested by spammers.

Hi febidog,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
As announced quite some time ago, Serif has stopped the development of the Plus line as it was getting old and increasingly more difficult to maintain/expand. Affinity is an entirely new line of software created from scratch to take advantage of the new tech/API's available in modern OS. It's not a direct update or replacement for the legacy Serif Plus line which you can continue using as long as the OS supports it. Some products from the previous line were dropped. Currently there's no plans to offer a similar products to WebPlus or MoviePlus.
