Free Transform

Recommended Posts

I apologize if this is a very basic question, but I can’t figure it out. I’ve tried multiple tutorials and can’t seem to find out how to create a selection and then move and resize just that selection. I basically want to do a free transform like you can do in Photoshop.

Any help? I know I’ll be kicking myself when you answer.

Hi @Jake Kerr,

Welcome to the forums.

If it's a selection from one layer, you can simply go to the Selection Persona, make your selection, go back to Photo Persona, switch to Move Tool and you can "free" transform it.

If it's a selection of layers, select the layers from your layer panel, select the Move Tool and adjust it.

Thanks,

Gabe.

Selection Persona?

Yup. The iPad version has a separate Selection Persona. It also has ‘Studios’ (e.g. the Layer Studio) where the desktop version merely has ‘Panels’.
