Transfering Lightroom Files to Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

Do you mean Lightroom catalog files? APh is not DAM, and therefore does not working with catalog/databases.
Do you mean standard image files, like jpg/png/tif/RAW? They do not need to be transfered, just Open.

If you are talking about individual files that you have initially edited in Lightroom and wish to edit further in Affinity Photo, then you need to set up Lightroom as an external editor - a once only procedure.  Then when you want to transfer your Lightroom edited photo to Affinity Photo from within Lightroom, you only need to right click on the image and you can go to edit in ...... You can have up to two external editors.  When you choose to edit in Affinity Photo, Lightroom asks you whether you wish to transfer the edited or the unedited file - so you have great control.

If you wish me to outline the procedure then just post here to say that is what you wish to achieve.
