LEE SHELDON
Just been working through WorkBook, I defy anyone without previous knowledge of Photoshop to be able to complete any of the Tutorials, even with command of the interface. reason being there are so many gaps left in the examples and I presume this publication is aimed at people new to the software, you have to be able to read between the lines so to speak.Compared with my library of image editing publications this the worse book imaginable, it's all glitz and glamour. As opposed to official online Video Tutorials that are first rate. Rating 1*+1* for trying. Edited May 30, 2018 by LEE SHELDON
emmrecs01
I have no previous knowledge of Photoshop. Indeed, I've never used or owned it. To me, the workbook projects are "demanding" but certainly do NOT require prior experience with PS. Just my view! Staff Gabe Posted May 31, 2018 Staff Share Posted May 31, 2018 Hi @LEE SHELDON, Welcome to the forums. Did you struggle with any specific tutorials? I'm pretty sure they cover every step you need to take from start to finish. Thanks, Gabe.

Although I have not completed all the later chapters, all I have tried have done that for me. Of course, that could be because I read the first & second chapters (Interface Tour & Core Skills) & made sure I understood everything in them before moving on. Jaffa
Well, Lee, changing from Photoshop can be very challenging, some things are the same and some subtly different. I am mostly enjoying the challenge and from my forays into the WorkBook have found it excellent. Patience needed perhaps? Stay with it, man! photophart
Umm...yes. I have completed all the exercises in the workbook and am now working though it again from start to finish to fill in the bits I missed the first time through. Kind of like reading "War and Peace" you don't get it all on the first crack.
