rongittings
I have a black and white image, currently saved as a JPEG, that has a white background. When I insert the image on top of a coloured background in Designer the white background shows as a square against the colour. Is there any way of removing the white background leaving just the image?
Staff MEB Posted May 30, 2018 Staff Share Posted May 30, 2018 Hi rongittings, Welcome to Affinity Forums You can use Blend Options to remove the white. See my reply here for an example (this applies to both Affinity Designer and Photo). Alternatively you may also try to set the Blend Mode of that layer (the dropdown on the top of the Layers panel) to Multiply if you have more layers below.
