Feature Request: Fill Tool can use symbols or groups

Recommended Posts

I think an awesome feature would be for the Fill Tool to be able to use Symbols and Groups already within the app and/or document. This would save have to export as a png file and the bring that same file back into the document, so why not just make a symbol and add Symbol as an option on the dropdown list, this could be done by either selecting a symbol first and the Fill Tool has a "Use Selected Symbol" option, or dragging a symbol over the Fill Tool.

Having a "Use Selected Group" option could also work in a similar way, so you create a group and the design you want, select that group and either drag it over to the Fill Tool Icon or have the "Use Selected Group" option in the dropdown list.

Wadda ya think Affinites?
