Auto Convert all Objects to Curves while Exporting to PDF

Recommended Posts

There is an export option for exporting text as curves. Parametric shapes are automatically exported as curves, so no further controls are needed.

PDF for Export is the best option to choose if you intend to import the result in another application, PDF for Web keeps the resolution and file size to a minimum, and PDF for Print gives you access to standards such as PDF/X (a subset of the PDF specification that yields files which will print predictably).

Ive been manually converting all texts to curves all these times which was a drag in big documenst like packaging sets that some texts are imbedded and mixed with shapes.

Select the More button when using the PDF export dialog. It's an option that will then be available.

Thanks for stepping in, Mike. :)

You need to scroll all the way down to the ‘Embed fonts’ dropdown list in the secondary dialog. The ‘Text as Curves’ option is hidden away in there.

Exactly the same options are available via the dropdown list in the Export Options panel in the Export persona. Once again, you need to scroll down to see it.
