Futuremoose Posted May 17, 2018 Share Posted May 17, 2018 I have an existing vector based design that I can open in Affinity Designer... it has several layers and looks fine. I would like to than create another layer, and import another, existing SVG file into that new layer (I want the new layer on top of the existing layers). I only see how to open my "overlay" SVG file by itself, not a way to import it into a new layer of an existing design. Is that possible? Thanks in advance... Staff Gabe Posted May 17, 2018 Staff Share Posted May 17, 2018 Hi @Futuremoose, Welcome to the forums. You can use the "Place" option from the file menu. This will create a new layer with the new document embedded. Or, you can open the new document on a separate tab, copy the layers and paste them on the other tab of your "old" project. Thanks, Gabe.
