Font Missing & More

Recommended Posts

In the beginning, the first fiver letters were solid color and all the rest were transparent block letters, no matter which font I would select.

As I moved the font around the circle, they would all become either solid or transparent block, but unfortunately not when rotated to top and middle.

As you can see, they are finally all solid on document inside Affinity Designer (attached image).

Yet, once exported, the first few letters that were solid initially, are totally missing (attached image).

How to fix?

Thanks much!

It looks like the lettering has a transparency applied to it.
If you zoom in to the first image you can see that the characters on the left actually only have an outline - probably supplied by the AD "snapping show candidate" function - while the characters in the middle and on the right are filled in.
Removing the transparency should do the trick, unless I've misread the situation.

Hi lao26,

Thanks for the file. Select the text object/layer in the Layers panel - the one which has an "A" as its thumbnail - then select the Transparency Tool, go to the context toolbar (right above the work area) and change the Type dropdown to None. This will remove the transparency applied to the text.
