artemesia66
This has to be something obvious, but I'm puzzled....
Staff MEB Posted February 23, 2015 Staff Share Posted February 23, 2015 Hum it's not that obvious really... it wasn't implemented yet  We are aware of this limitation. Just hold on a little more... Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

A_B_C
Hi artemesia66, what about that workaround for the mean time? (a.) Set up a custom guide system with guides drawn out of the rulers. (b.) "Double" each guide with a line using the Pen Tool, all of them on a dedicated layer. (c.) Lock the layer. (d.) Set the guides invisible, so they cannot be moved by accident. (e.) Engage the "snap to guides" option, but disengage the "Only snap to visible objects" option in the snapping behavior panel. This way you can see the guides (namely the doubled ones), but cannot move them (since the visible ones are locked, and the real ones are hidden) ... It’s a bit cumbersome, but for some projects it might help, cheers, Alex :)
