Ian R
Hi, I've watched a few videos and understand that you can have multiple artboards exported as separate file. When I have multiple artboards open and then click on export persona, it doesn't do the auto slice action. What am I missing? Thanks in advance, Ian
firstdefence
Are you looking at the Layers tab or the Slices tab? To get Artboards exported you need to be on the Slices tab. Tip: Name your Artboards uniquely, the yellow exclamation mark is just a warning that the path the slices will be exported to are the same, what that means is, it will export both files to say, the Desktop if that is where you chose to export too. the slices may have the same name but will be named incrementally and also have a number after the name. This issue can be eliminated by naming Artboards uniquely and will help with file names on export. Bri-Toon
In addition, there is a button in the Layers tab in the Export persona that says, "Create Slice." This will automatically create a slice of the whole upper most parent layers, and the slice will capture anything visible in its pixel boundaries. So it is crucial to organize your content in layers before exporting. After that is done, you may switch to the Slices tab to begin exporting. firstdefence 1 Quote The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready.
