I just recently got a new laptop, the newest MacBook Pro (model# A1708) and I have been working on getting all of my files and applications on this new computer. I have gotten the actual Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer applications themselves downloaded and working great. However, I had to re-download the Grade UI Kit onto my new laptop because it didn't come with the application when I installed it onto the new computers system. I am able to get the files from the UI Sheets folder to open just fine, but whenever I try and open the files in the Palettes or the Assets folders, neither Affinity Photo nor Designer is able to open them. The attached screen shots are to show what happens when I tried to do the following:

Grade Ui Kit > Assets > Grade UI.afassets

If I am just trying to open them incorrectly please let me know. I need some help sooner rather than later because I am needing to make an infographic for one of my finals... #collegeproblems

Hi kennaday,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

That's not a regular affinity document but an assets file you have to import from the Assets panel. Go to menu View ▸ Studio ▸ Assets to open the Assets panel, then click the small menu icon on the top right of the panel and select Import Assets..., browse to that .afassets file, select it and it should import the assets to the Assets panel as a new category. To use them just drag them from the Assets panel to the canvas.
