debraspicher
This would be a great feature for Affinity Photo and set it apart from Photoshop in Windows... a feature where we can turn off the background in the interface, just having floating tool bars and image windows... would help to connect workspace with desktop... this was my favorite feature on Mac and would love to have it on the Windows version of Affinity Photo. Hokusai
debra, Isn't this already available? If you go to Window/Separated Mode it should do it. At least on the Mac app it does. Best regards, Hokusai
Mithferion
There isn’t that option in the Windows version. Best regards! Mithferion
I know, and I know it's a matter of preference, but I remember when GIMP users asked for the single Windows Mode. Best regards! Hokusai
debra, Sorry to hear that the Windows version doesn't have it. Do other programs on Windows have the option to do it? Hokusai

If it matters at all, I do not wish to have this. Never liked it. But I agree that it is a matter of personal preference. I'm sure we agree that we disagree Cheers, d.
