Background-less Application Window (like Photoshop for Mac)

Recommended Posts

This would be a great feature for Affinity Photo and set it apart from Photoshop in Windows... a feature where we can turn off the background in the interface, just having floating tool bars and image windows... would help to connect workspace with desktop... this was my favorite feature on Mac and would love to have it on the Windows version of Affinity Photo.

I know, and I know it's a matter of preference, but I remember when GIMP users asked for the single Windows Mode.

Best regards!

Mithferion,

Really? I had no idea. Thanks for letting me know. I guess the original poster will have to switch to Mac;)

Yeah that ain't happening! haha

I love that feature on Mac! I don't know why more Windows apps don't allow this.

If it matters at all, I do not wish to have this. Never liked it. But I agree that it is a matter of personal preference. I'm sure we agree that we disagree ;)

Yes, it should be optional.

Fixx,

I liked the "F-mode" in Illustrator and Photoshop too but after Apple added the option for Full Screen doesn't it do pretty much the same thing?

Like you said, Apple. Not an option on Windows.
