Murf
Can someone please help me as i am a new affinity photo user. I am on Windows 10 and i download raw pics. I make adjustments and then develop. I make a few more adjustments and I go to create a jpeg to take to a store to print. I have tried several ways and the printer, in this case a kodak, will not read my jpeg It states that it could not display the image. Could someone please guide me to create a simple jpeg that I can take to any store to print.
toltec
There should be no problems with JPEGs. I have done many using Photo from Windows 10 and taken them to my local snapshot printer without any problems. I just go File > Export and normally use these settings. (Apart from the Size: settings which depend on the image) Click on Export and it opens up the Windows filer. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions. Staff MEB Posted April 25, 2018 Staff Share Posted April 25, 2018 Hi Murf, Welcome to Affinity Forums Are you using a Kodak Picture Kiosk to print them? If so try on another store/machine. Seems a few of them are running old software that's not able to read the JPG's properly. Also make sure you are working/exporting in RGB (not CMYK). strikele
I ran into the same issue a couple of years ago. Not only would the Kodak machines not read the data, but neither did the online printing services offered by a couple of the local camera stores (perhaps they were also using Kodak machines?). In the end, I had them printed at a Costco store with no problems. If you should happen to have a Costco nearby, I would suggest that as a good solution. P.S. I am on a Mac so it is not a Windows glitch. Good luck Leslie
