How do i take the background out?

Hi LuccasGreco,

Welcome to the forums!
 

I'd recommend using Filters > Colours > Erase White Paper if you are using Affinity Photo. You could also try using Blend Options (the cog icon next to the Blend Mode in the layers panel) until you find the desired effect, seen in this post by @MEB:) 

Also, I personally like the ripped design but I'm not much of a creative so would struggle to offer improvement suggestions, other than perhaps a few less rips so that the design is more prevalent?

Yes that worked! but the design didnt look how i wanted it to.... I wanted to make it look like the superman shrits where its like coming out from under the shirt you know....

In your original screenshot the logo itself is ripped, but in your latest screenshot there is another layer of material covering the logo, and that covering layer is ripped. You just need to cover your logo and reveal it in a similar way.

Like Alfred said just add another layer that contains the ripped design and a transparent background and place it on top your logo (colour as required)

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hahah thank you! i know its the internet but I couldnt find it without a logo already on it!

Me neither.

You have to delete the logo from the design you want to use, which will leave the transparent area in which your own logo will show through
