DRF
Hi Please can anyone help. I purchased Affinity December 2015. I cannot find the inpainting tool in the persona side of the program. Please see photo screenshot uploaded of the program. I can see the paintbrush but it does not allow me to pick another choice and I cannot find the healing plaster tool either. Can anyone please give me any advice. I want to basically remove the girl off the bed on the photo below. Thanks David
DRF
Oops. I think Im on Affinity Designer and not Affinity Photo. I assume there is a difference in what tools can be used? Is there a way to remove the lady in the photo still? Thanks David

You can use selection tools to copy parts of the image to copy and move elsewhere (clone) but it is not a job for the faint hearted. It can be done though. That is also a very complex image because the weight of the lady distorts the bed and her shadow also plays havoc with the lighting, which I couldn't quite get right. I would need to spend a bit more time with the dodge and burn tools to be happy. The objects on the right are on a table, which would have to be reconstructed or, do what I did, cheat. Hence the hovering alarm clock! Very nicely done, all the same. However, it seems to be legless! Has it been drinking? 2 hours ago, firstdefence said: A very good source for images is Pixabay a great community of very generous people sharing their art and photos.
