I have many other important things to be doing with my time than remembering what damn name your company insisted I create to use as a moniker for the forums which I loathe. If you like spam, there’s nothing to stop you changing your username to match your email address. You can even include an ‘at’ sign, which strikes me as a stupid thing for the forum software to allow in a username, but something of the form ‘moniker-at-example-dot-com’ would help you avoid putting too much strain on either your brain or your mailbox. It seems that this setting was overlooked when we last upgraded the forums, and had gone back to the forum default of username only. I have just checked the Admin UI and was pleased to find that "username OR email" is an option (it has annoyed me too, though far less than you clearly). Please retry, and keep the personal insults to a minimum or you may find the forum regulars less interested in assisting you. We "fools" who work here have less choice in the matter, but still have some.
