KiyoonBaek
Hi. I used Illustrator before for shoe drawing. I'm using Affinity Design now, If I load leather materials as JPG, how can I make it for pattern. And Is there live paint bucket tools as like Illustrator? And Warp tool? Thank you very much. Bri-Toon
For your first question, you can apply bitmap pattern fills on objects with the Gradient Tool. Just change the "Type" to "Bitmap." As for your other two questions, no, Designer does not currently have these. However, a mesh warp is on Designer's roadmap, and we got a sneak peek preview of 1.7 in which selected nodes can be put in a bounding box and be transformed separately from the remaining selected object. What is already possible in Affinity Photo: “The Mesh Warp Tool allows you to distort an image (or portion of an image) using a highly customizable grid comprising of nodes and lines.” Much more help for Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo can be (searched and) found here.
