Overlapping font glyphs are not exported correctly to PDF

Recommended Posts

I have an AD file that has some text from a font (Lavenderia) that has overlapping glyphs. They are displayed and rendered correctly in AD, but upon export (with or without rasterization enabled), the stroke around both the behind and in front character is visible (i.e. the rear glyph's stroke is not obscured by the front glyph's stroke).

in AD:

Which version of AD are you using? There was a problem with the handling of Contextual Alternates in the Lavanderia font. It was fixed in an update, but your screenshot shows the wrong ‘a’ in the middle of the word ‘Village’.

HI mqudsi

I'm not able to reproduce this in our app but do get it when the font is used in other apps so could be a font issue. Are you able to provide the file and font you are using at all?

Thanks
