dkj
What is the best resampling algorithm to use when enlarging images for printing? Typically, I would be enlarging no more than 200%.

This should help you make an informed decision regarding what method to use for upscaling. Thanks Callum Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. HVDB Photography
Enlarging, do you mean physically, ie double/triple the dimensions? I would not recommend that personally. Most printing companies can still deliver a good quality print at 120 DPI ! Suppose you have a photo of 45 cm x 30 cm at 300 DPI. Lowering the DPI to 150 DPI, increases the photo dimensions to 90 cm x 60 cm. While the resolution remains unchanged. You'll need to do this in two steps. 1. Document > Resize Document uncheck Resample Lower the DPI to 150 and click resize 2. Document > Resize Document and click resize Quote Affinity Photo 2.3.1 Laptop MSI Prestige PS42 Windows 11 Home 23H2 (Build 22631.3007) - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.00 GHz - RAM 16,0 GB
