Assets containing symbols in Affinity Designer

Alright,

So when I drag an asset I've made that contains multiple copies of a symbol each copy of the symbol is imported individually. So now I have however many copies of identical symbols, and editing one will not affect the others at all (as they are separate, individual, symbols now). Is there anyway around this that I just haven't thought of?

Welcome to the forums
There was a similar report of this issue here. As Chris_K mentioned, it is creating a new symbol when importing from assets. The log is still active with the developers and has been recently updated. It's current state is that it was by design, however we are working to try and have assets and symbols link together in a future update.
