madebymarco
Is there a way to disable the command CTRL+G from converting Text to a Group / Curves? I sometimes unconsciously use this command and see my text convert to paths, and had to redo them later on. Thanks!
R C-R
You did not say which Affinity app you are using but for both the basic procedure is the same: open app preferences, select the Keyboard Shortcuts section, & in the appropriate persona & menu section (Draw > Layer for Affinity Designer & Photo > Arrange for Affinity Photo) & delete the entry for Group (or change it to something else). Fixx
How would grouping make text curves? It should stay editable. Are you sure you are not using control-enter which indeed makes curves? R C-R
madebymarco
Sorry I forgot to mention it's for Affinity Photo, and it's Command+Enter also... It converts the text to curves, separated by letters, and put it in one group. Ok, I'll fiddle with my preference settings. Thanks guys
