Petar Petrenko Posted March 31, 2018 Share Posted March 31, 2018 Hi, I converted a few vector objects into shapes with "Geometry > Add" and add a picture as a child layer to get this effect. I can move any shape if I select it and drag it by clicking on one of its nodes. The question is: is it possible, somehow, all objects to stay as objects without converting them into shapes in case of further resizing, rotating, changing their shape with control points? firstdefence Posted March 31, 2018 Share Posted March 31, 2018 As far as I know, you would have to have an image for each shape and Mask To Below this works but having the shapes as a group kills the individual shapes. Masking each shape to one image fails because you will be masking from a mask, and the first mask would take priority, you can see this effect by using Mask to below with one shape then mask to below with another shape then moving the second shape about until you see the first masked area. The alternative is that you keep all the shapes above the image and if you want a particular shape with the fractal pattern, use Mask To Below and Export Selection with Background. This is a bit more work but at least you have flexibility.
