BlueBoxPhotos Posted March 30, 2018 Share Posted March 30, 2018 My version Affinity Beta for iPad 1.6.7.67 constantly crashes when using the drag n drop feature. I've tried to drag n drop 100+ images to 30 images with the same result. Crash crash crash. I'm running iOS 11.3 beta 7 on 2nd gen iPad pro 12.9. I have even tried to do a hard reset with the same results. Also the implanting brush is exterior laggy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pixelcoder Posted April 1, 2018 Share Posted April 1, 2018 Hey, Sorry to hear that you have to deal with all those crashes, iOS 11.3 beta 7 ? Its now released and there were just 6 betas afaik. Also are you trying to drop 30 photos into affinity at the same time? If I would do that with Photoshop on my 32GB Ram Desktop Workstation Windows Machine (The iPad has only 4GB) I would bring it to crash also, at least it will Swap and become unresponsive with such an huge amount of files open at the same time. Affinity Photo is not like Light-room where you can import thousands of files at the same time and edit them. Its more like Photoshop and imho even better to do complex photo manipulation and edits. BlueBoxPhotos Posted April 1, 2018 Author Share Posted April 1, 2018 That part makes complete sense, only import 1or 2 at a time to avoid crashes during import. Other crashes are now appearing, during dodge and burn, inpainting brush, and more I'm sure. I completely left the beta program, made a backup in iTunes, downgraded to 11.2.6 and then was forced to update it to the latest release 11.3 . I am now also back on 1.6.7 AP public release, and it's crashing left and right. Yes I did a reboot the iPad using the lock/unlock button and the home button. BlueBoxPhotos Posted April 1, 2018 Author Share Posted April 1, 2018 Ok, I deleted AP public release and then went back to TestFlight and downloaded the latest gets off AP. Still I am having crashes.
