Just received an email asking to sign up for news updates. Legit?

Anyone who hasn't had the email, as long as you have an account on the Affinity Store, then login to this link,  then click on 'Manage your email marketing preferences' and you can change the settings there.

 

If you don't have an Affinity store account or signed up to the newsletter, then that could be why you haven't had the email.

Nice theory, Gareth, but I do have an Affinity Store account and according to my settings I’m signed up for Affinity news, updates and offers as well as the Spotlight newsletter, yet I still haven’t had that email.

My theories have a habit of not working out O.o

 

I'll have to check with the powers that be on Tuesday as to why some didn't get the email.  I know we stagger sending them out, but that's over a few hours so everyone should of had one by now

AFAIK, not everyone will receive this email. It's only being sent to EU users who have previously signed up via the old Newsletter/Trial/Beta signup pages and haven’t got an Affinity Store account. It’s being sent to remind users who may have forgotten about signing up to the Newsletter/Trial/Beta and making them aware of these changes.

 

This doesn’t apply to users who have purchased items through the Affinity Store because this uses a different signup procedure to the old Newsletter/Trial/Beta signup pages.

 

If you’ve not received the email, we still like you :)
