Thanks to a request called How to make egg shapes by ameleen07 and a nifty solution by MattP...

https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/5519-how-to-make-egg-shapes/

I got I little carried away. Hope you enjoy them, these are some of my favourites. They really look good in a slightly different context.

Peter.

Heh, I don't know if this is specifically my family tradition, but when we hardboil eggs we draw on the shells with sharpies to mark them.  Usually it's a variety of faces, so your gallery reminds me of that.

I've always liked a nice egg shape.

Maybe also why I enjoyed making bowls in ceramics class on the wheel?  I dunno.  Anyway, good job!

The eggs were a surprise - the thumbnails didn't really prepare me for all the eggcellent works of art that followed!

I'll have a look in the lost property drawer in the morning, I think there might be something suitable :)

"...and the next Eggy," Opens golden envelope, "Goes to, MattP and his Malevolent Moggy."

Climbs up steps, falls over, gets back up again. Approaches microphone; like the cat, who got the proverbial cream...clutches the Eggy and purrs; very, very loudly...exits stage left heading for the nearest catflap.
