Muadib24 3 Posted March 27, 2018 Hi, is it possible to make gradient shapes as in Illustrator? If yes, how ?
MEB 6,840 Posted March 27, 2018 Hi Muadib24, Welcome to Affinity Forums If you are referring to applying to regular gradients (linear, elliptical, radial etc) to shapes, yes. If you are referring to gradient meshes, no - currently Affinity Designer doesn't have them. This is on Affinity Designer's roadmap to be implemented in a future version during the 1.x cycle (before v2). Muadib24 3 Posted March 27, 2018 Not meshes. Exemple, between a blue rectangle to a yellow circle. Illustrator creates the intermediate shapes while dragging the color from blue to yellow. It's a very old tool in Illustrator, and very useful. See attached file.
MEB 6,840 Posted March 27, 2018 You are referring to the Blend Tool. There's a Replicate/Blend Tool on the roadmap as well but i don't know for sure if it will be similar to Illustrator one at this point.
