Are there plans to make something like an Affinity Animator?

Recommended Posts

I feel like the only missing "path" for Affinity products on top of Designer and Photo, is something to animate content with. So I was wondering if there is an animation software in the roadmap. Or at the least, a small animation addition to Designer as it will be really helpful for web designers simulating interactions with the elements.

Let's not distract them! There's a long way to go on the three desktop apps and iPad variants.  It'll be a great idea once they've got Designer, Photo and Publisher to a level where they match the Adobe equivalents for functionality (hopefully with some UI improvements as well). I'm sure they'll then be looking for new fields to conquer...

Being a QuarkXpress user, switched back to Quark when they started to make possible to create webdesign with animations in it, I'm very curious when Publisher will make something like that possible.

In quark it's the HTML-5 palet, that makes a lot possible …

Since Affinity v2 is here for sometime, maybe something has changed in topic - to create Affinity Animator? 😉
Adobe do not care about Adobe Animate for years now, it would be great to have reliable substitiution like Photo, Designer and Publisher.
Many users are looking to switch from Adobe Animate but they do not have many options out there.
