vijayessar
Please help to fix this image. Can anyone guide me what to do to brighten up darker portion in this image?
Trinity
One way would be to select the gold area and use a highlights and shadows live filter to adjust as required.

carl123
If you don't mind some slight changes to the image you can always copy/paste/manipulate from other (lighter) areas of the image Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. smadell
Create a Curves adjustment layer (or Levels, or any other adjustment or live filter) and then restrict its action by using a Luminosity-based blend mode. Try using a “darks” luminosity mask using the macros linked below. sirdrake
Maybe something like this?
smadell
I used a Curves Layer and a Levels Layer. The Curves Layer is shown below, and has a "Darks 3" luminosity mask attached. It also uses a "Lighten" blend mode. The Levels Layer is below, using a "Lights 2" luminosity mask and a "Multiply" blend mode. Here is the final version: Of course, you can add additional Adjustments on top of this to "punch up" the colors a bit - Curves, Contrast, HSL, etc. Quote Affinity Photo 2, Affinity Publisher 2, Affinity Designer 2 (latest retail versions) - desktop & iPad Culling - FastRawViewer; Raw Developer - Capture One Pro; Asset Management - Photo Supreme Mac Studio with M2 Max (2023}; 64 GB RAM; macOS 13 (Ventura); Mac Studio Display - iPad Air 4th Gen; iPadOS
