I think you want to move your line
You can move the endpoint while holding down the CTRL key

the transform arrows actually show the correct operation that would happen if you transformed the slice. This is because you have only rotated the view not the slice itself, so it is still technically the right way up and the arrow reflect this. Rotating the view can be likened to the equivalent of you rotating by physically rotating your monitor.
