ChristopherBoyd
I am unable to activate pressure sensitivity using cintiq pro. The cintiq shows pressure sensitivity is active, but not in affinity designer. Help! C
Staff stokerg Posted March 21, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 21, 2018 Hi ChristopherBoyd and Welcome to the Forums, Have you set the Controller to Pressure on the Context Toolbar for the brush you are using in Affinity? Callum

Staff stokerg Posted March 21, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 21, 2018 Thanks for the screenshot. If you switch to the Pixel Persona and select the Brush Tool, does pressure then work if you enable Force Pressure to control size, next to the More button? ChristopherBoyd
I get no difference when toggling the "pressure to cntrol" size. C
Staff stokerg Posted March 21, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 21, 2018 Just this on our Cintiq and have to say with a small brush the change was very suttle when using Pressure. I increased the brush size and got much better results. Can you just try increasing the brush size and trying again. I went to a brush size of around 150px and it worked well with pressure. Staff stokerg Posted March 23, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 23, 2018 I've asked on of the QA team to have a look at this and see if they can spot any reason for it not to be working for you. If you could also make sure you have the latest drivers installed for the Cintiq, as it's possible it could be a driver issue.
firstdefence
Same thing happens with my little Aiptek Ultimate MTU-001 (Wacom Clone.) In Pixel Persona I get thin to thick but in Vector Persona Neither Pressure nor Velocity work and I get a consistent line thickness as set by the Width Parameter. ChristopherBoyd
Thanks for engaging with this. I do have the latest drivers and system files for the Cintiq to work. C
