Artboards...how do they work

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Could anyone please explain how Artboards can be created? Removed or turn a document into an artboard?

The video tutorials are all out of date as the "artboard" option is missing from File > New dialogue box.

The help files mention the artboard tool but that isn't present in the default interface.

There are no options to remove or create artboards when right clicking anywhere in the UI.

It's a mystery! I've only been able to create them by importing multi page PDFs. Thanks.

Artboards can only be created in Affinity Designer

I know you have Affinity Photo but do you also have Designer?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Not true. See for example, Affinity Designer - Artboards: BasicsAffinity Designer - Artboards: Design Aids, Affinity Designer 1.4 - Artboards: From Content, or any of the other video tutorials in the 2. Artboards section of the Official Affinity Designer Video Tutorials (70+) page.
