I'm new to this

i have got a logo design and managed to bring it up on affinity design but i really have not got clue how to change wording on the actual logo. the logo was not designed on affinity design. I'm trying to change the word GROUP. please help

Well since it's a question belongs more to the Forum Questions category.

However, it depends on the format you have imported it in AD, if it's vector then in turn if the "group" text is in editable text format or instead just shown/drawn as curves here. - I assume the "group" text is probably curves here in your case for vector. Or is the whole  more a bitmap/raster image (JPG etc.)? - For vector format remove the "group" text curves, for a bitmap cover the "group" text" with a rectangle of the same background white. Then use some fitting font (it looks like Trajan Pro to me here) and type the text you want to have instead as graphics text and size/place it accordingly.
