Hi,

I need to select "Create color chordws > triades" twice just to create it only once.

The second problem is that only first color is in CMYK, the other two are in HSL color space.

Is it possible for Affinity team to make a color wheel just to see what are the other colors of the chord?

Hi Peter,

I'm not able to replicate the problem of Creating Colour Chords, they are created when i select Triadic the 1st time.  All the options on that menu work with the 1st click of the mouse for myself on both Windows and Mac.  Can you let me know the steps you are taking.  But with me, if i set my fill to Red and then create a Triadic Chord, i'm given 3 colours, Red, Green and blue.

I can replicate the HSL issue, my 1st item has CMYK but the next 2 colours have HSL.  This is a known issue and i believe some work is expected to be carried out on the Chords section at some point.

As for the Colour wheel to show other colours of the chord, that would need to go in as a feature request :)

Lets take this situation in consideration:

1. There are only swatches -- no color chords at all.

2. I create c0 m100 y0 k0 color and click on "Create color chords > triads"

3. Three (white) colors are created c0 m0 y0 k0 and the other two are h0 s0 l100 and h120 s0 l100.

4. I click again on "... > triads" and now I get the correct color chord c0 m100 y0 k 0 -- h60 s100 l50 -- h180 s100 l50.

5. Now, I create c100 m0 y100 k0 and when i try to create triads I get the same color chord from step 4.

6. I must click once again on "...triads" to get the correct color chord (green, blue, red).

Steps 3 and 4 never happens because I get the correct colours first time.

What Affinity version are you using? I'm on 1.6.1
