PDF Export overlay effect serious error

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I don't know if this is the same situation, but I am reporting it here.

Left part of the image is printed directly from AD. Right part of the image is exported to PDF, then printed from preview.

You can see on printed PDF from the preview (right part of the image) that there is a rectangular distortion, absent from the left part.

On the red peak is has been applied an outer glow effect.

What is interesting is that on the screen of the preview, the image looks right. Its on the printing that its getting wrong.

Best,

A.

@MEB I just had a brochure printed and it is badly printed because of a seemingly similar issue.

File has a jpg blurred in background. Export to tiff works, but exporting to pdf lost the background image which I did not notice... this has to be looked at as I lost money on this order...

Hi cgartists,

I'm sorry for the trouble this is causing you. I've reproduced the issue with the offset settings you have provided above and passed this to the dev team along with your files. I don't believe the cause it's the same but it's not certainly working as it should. Thanks for your support and patience.
