Sempervivum
Hallo, I tested the focus merging feature today and one question arose: I used RAW images as a source (orf). I didn't find a way to set the parameters of the raw importer when loading these images. This issue is mentioned here: and the result is, that it is not possible. However that thread is of Nov. 16. Are there any new aspects today regarding this issue?
Staff MEB Posted March 12, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 12, 2018 Hi Sempervivum, Welcome to Affinity Forums No, there wasn't changes here. I advise you to create a new thread in Feature Requests, Suggestions and Feedback section and specify which functionality/features you would like to see here. Is the ability to use the Develop Persona to apply its setting to all photos before loaded in Focus Merging that you are looking for? Sempervivum
Hallo MEB, thanks for this info. Quote Is the ability to use the Develop Persona to apply its setting to all photos before loaded in Focus Merging that you are looking for? Do you mean the ability to save the settings of the raw importer and load them when importing a new photo? This would require loading the images one-by-one manually. Or is there a way to automate this?
Staff MEB Posted March 12, 2018 Staff Share Posted March 12, 2018 I was asking generically but yes by saving a sidecar file to apply to all photos loaded in Focus Merging or a way to access the Develop Persona directly from it to adjust the settings to one of the RAW's which would be then applied to all the other RAW's loaded in the Focus Merging or something similar... Basically seems users want to adjust the RAW's loaded in Focus Merging before performing it. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
